Our District

Reimagine

Building on Harlem's legacy of excellence in arts, literature, culture, and intellect.

Harlem has long been a center of creativity, scholarship, leadership, culture, and community strength. In District 5, Reimagining the Renaissance means carrying that legacy forward through schools that affirm identity, cultivate excellence, and prepare students to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the world.

This work is not about looking backward. It is about helping students read, write, solve, create, question, reflect, lead, and grow with purpose.

Across District 5, our schools are working to strengthen academic learning, emotional intelligence, cultural understanding, student support, family partnership, and pathways for future opportunity.
